I have a life-long passion for classical music; it began when I studied oboe (primarily) and piano at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester. I left with two grade 8 distinctions and decided to forsake the oboe and make a career in piano accompaniment and teaching...that together with music administration and playing the organ.
I believe that enthusiastic amateurs, just like professionals in fact, develop and grow when they feel valued and when they become engaged through friendly support.
