Join world-class baritone and composer Roderick Williams for an unforgettable evening. As part of our fundraising campaign for the piece we’re commissioning to celebrate our 155th Anniversary, Roderick Williams will be joined by Susie Allan on piano to give an evening of entertainment.
As well as songs and discussions with Roderick as part of the evening, he will be giving a Masterclass for singers – this is a special opportunity to watch Roderick give supportive and engaging coaching to participants.
Timings for the evening:
6:30 pm – Doors Open.
7:00 pm – Recital and discussion with Roderick Williams and Susie Allan.
7:30 pm – Masterclass for participants, led by Roderick.
8:50 pm – Short Q&A.
9:00 pm – Drinks reception.
9:30 pm – Event finishes.
All proceeds from the evening go towards our commissioned piece to celebrate our 155th anniversary in 2027.
Please note that the venue has changed from Chipping Norton Town Hall to Chipping Norton School. There is parking at the front of the school and in the Leisure Centre which is next to the school. Timings remain as advertised, and you are welcome to arrive from 6:30 pm with the recital and masterclass starting at 7 pm. Roddy will be around for a little while after the event to chat with audience members. In addition to the drink with your ticket purchase, drinks will be on sale during the interval, but please note that we are not accepting cash, purchases are via card only.
