Join British-based barbershop quartet, The Acafellas, for an afternoon’s workshop on ‘singing as an ensemble’, where the group work through various important aspects of ensemble singing; uniformity, tuning, awareness, interpretation, and performance. Through a fun afternoon of pieces and exercises, led by experienced ensemble singers, you can learn and practice the skills needed to improve your choral singing.

In the evening, The Acafellas will perform a concert of varied music for male-voices and barbershop classics, in aid of the CNCS 155th anniversary. All profits from this event go towards the commissioned choral work to celebrate 155 years of the Chipping Norton Choral Society in 2027.

Workshop begins at 2:30pm and ends at 5:30pm, with a tea and cake break at half time.

Concert begins at 7:30pm, and will end at roughly 9pm. There will be an interval with refreshments.
